READY TO BOOK?

I am so excited you are here! Before booking, please take notice of my shooting and editing style and be sure you LOVE what you see! My main focus will always be connection within your family. While I will be sure to get a shot with everyone smiling at the camera, the majority of the time you will be looking at each other or not directly at the camera.

LET’S MAKE THIS OFFICAL!

We have discussed a date and time that works for everyone, now lets get you on the calendar! A signed contract and $100 retainer is required to hold your date.

STYLING AND LOCATION

Now it's time to put your vision to work! I have tons of locations I can recommend, or if you have somewhere special in mind that's great too! I can also send a styling guide upon request- just let me know!

SESSION DAY

The day is here! The most common time for sessions to be held is sunrise or the hour prior to sunset(although this can be discussed if you have a special request and may vary depending on the session you have booked). I will monitor the weather, but due to rapid changes, rescheduling isn’t typically considered until 2-3 hours prior to our planned start time.

FINAL GALLERY

You can expect your final gallery to be delivered within 7 days of our session date through an online gallery that can be shared and downloaded to your computer or phone. Images are delivered in a high resolution and can be printed at any print store of your choice, or through the gallery store.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • 1-2 months prior to when you'd like to take the photos will ensure that I have plenty of availability.

    When should I have my maternity photos taken? I recommend around 32 weeks, give or take, when your bump will be round and noticeable but you hopefully aren’t to that uncomfortable stage!

  • Flowy dresses or skirts look great on camera. I love how they bring movement to a photo, and they're also so flattering. It is also fun to incorporate a second outfit that shows your bear belly! Crop tops with jeans or an open front dress is a great option! As for colors, I love neutrals - white, tans, even blues and pastels. I find that bright colors such as oranges, pinks, reds tend to reflect on skin tones. If you're having your family in the photos, I always say it's important to coordinate, but not match. (Avoid putting everyone is the same outfits, i.e. white shirt and jeans)

  • Of couse! I always begin by asking what your vision/style is that you are going for and then offer some suggestions from there.

  • I bring along a few things including a basket or two, a fluffy white blanket and a couple wrap options. I keep my newborn sessions very simple and love to focus more on the interactions of the family with the new addition!

  • Most of the time I will come to you and the session will take place in the comfort of your own home!

  • This will depend greatly on the lighting throughout your home, but the most common spaces are the nursery, living room and master bedroom.
